At present, the domestic demand for pesticides has weakened, foreign trade is restricted by the rebound of the epidemic, the positive pattern of glyphosate shipments has changed, and the prudence of the industry has increased, and PMIDA has eased slightly in response to the market. In terms of PMIDA profit, the process cost of natural gas-hydrocyanic acid-hydroxyacetonitrile-iminodiacetonitrile is relatively low, and the industry is advancing greatly. Recalling that PMIDA's export volume remained low in April, and under the control of Shanghai's closure and control in May, the export volume is expected to continue to be low, and the foreign trade volume in June may rebound and increase.

    In terms of export flow, among China’s PMIDA export trading partners from January to April 2022, the main export destination country is India, with an export volume of 2,510 tons; followed by Argentina’s export volume of 2,450 tons, and the United States and Mexico have a small amount of exports involved. The export volume was 108 tons and 72 tons respectively.

    From January to April 2022, China's PMIDA statistical analysis according to the place of registration of enterprises shows that the trade centers are located in Sichuan, Jiangsu and Shanghai. PMIDA's main origin, Sichuan, accounted for 56.94% of total exports, Jiangsu accounted for 37.46%, Shanghai accounted for 4.90%, and Zhejiang accounted for 0.70%. No other provinces and cities have PMIDA exports.

    The supply and demand relationship of PMIDA is in short-term balance, and downstream glyphosate consumption is acceptable. In July and August, there may be relatively concentrated high-temperature maintenance in the off-season of glyphosate, and there is a high probability that demand will shrink.
